Trying to look for a really good burger in Brooklyn, I heard about (and by that I mean, found on google) 67 Burger in Park Slope. (http://67burger.com/) They have an interesting menu of burger "creations" that switch up the toppings and types of cheese that get put on top. I got the ranch burger (ranch dressing, crispy onion ... straws, and BEEF, plus american cheese because I wasn't feeling cheesily adventurous. David got the Parisian (white wine sauteed onions, mushrooms and dijonaise). I also got a strawberry milkshake and we split an order of curly fries. Everything was delicious. The ranch burger was done well, and the toppings were something interesting that I hadn't tried before. The parisian was reportedly also very good, although it appeared much messier than mine. The curly fries were well seasoned (I am a spice weakling) and the milkshake was by far the thickest milkshake I have ever gotten at a burger joint (looking at you Shake Shack).
Basically, really good food, but maybe not something super special other than the combination of it all. The burger meat itself was definitely good, high quality beef, but it seemed like something we could have potentially made at home. The combinations are really the burger's claim to fame. The other aspects of the restaurant, however, are what will probably draw us back to it. Firstly, it's literally a block from the Bergen Street 2/3 station so it is super easy to get to. It is 3-4 blocks from Barclay Center (yay Brooklyn!) so the immediate area has an interesting atmosphere right when the games get out. 67 Burger also has SALADS as well as a whole different patty choices including turkey burgers, tofu burgers, and all kinds of other patties (although beef will always remain my favorite).
Also, the people at this restaurant were really nice and actually come up to your table to give you soda refills. The whole place was pretty cool looking, and Park Slope is obviously a nice place to spend some time on a Friday night, so all in all good stuff.
